CENTER FOR FAITH & WORK

"A Christian worldview provides believers with ways to interpret the philosophies and practices that dominate their field and bring renewal and reform to them."

TIMOTHY KELLER

Faith & Work 101

This five-course curriculum equips participants with a biblical vision for work rooted in God’s design, honest about brokenness, centered on Christ’s redemption, shaped by rhythms of rest, and anchored in the hope of new creation. Rather than offering career advice alone, the program forms the whole person—heart, habits, and imagination—helping participants integrate faith and work as worship and faithful presence in the world.

Next Faith & Work 101 Begins: June 2026

Week 1

Created for Cultivation
God created us for meaningful work as his image-bearers, showing vocation as a gift rooted in identity, not success or productivity.

Week 2

Work Under the Curse
Sin has deeply distorted our relationship to work. Discover how work is entangled with idolatry, identity, and exhaustion.

Week 3

Work Redeemed
Through Jesus, God is restoring our calling by reordering our loves and redefining faithfulness. Work is no longer a means of self-salvation.

Week 4

Work and Rest as Trust
Sabbath is not an interruption of vocation but a declaration of trust in God’s provision and sovereignty.

Week 5

Work and the World to Come
God does not abandon creation—he redeems and renews it, carrying the fruits of faithful labor into the new creation. Anchor your hope and see how labor participates in God's eternal purposes.

Vocation Labs

The Vocational Lab is a four-week guided experience that helps participants discern their calling through formation, design, burden, and mission. Rather than treating calling as a career strategy, it invites participants to see their lives within God’s redemptive purposes and consider how He is leading them in this season. Through Scripture, reflection, and practical exercises, participants grow in attentiveness and faithful obedience rather than seeking instant clarity.

Next Vocation Labs Begin: July 2026

Week 1 | Formation

Your Story as God's Work
Calling begins with formation, not aspiration. In this session, participants reflect on their life story—joys, losses, successes, failures, and detours—to recognize how God has been shaping them over time.

Week 2 | Design

Discerning Gifts
God’s calling is never disconnected from God’s design. God has equipped each person through gifts, skills, strengths, and limitations—confirmed through the wisdom of community.

Week 3 | Burden

Holy Discontent
Calling often emerges where love meets need. In this session, participants explore the desires, longings, and holy discontents that stir their hearts.

Week 4 | Mission

Walking in Obedience
Mission is not a final destination, but a way of life shaped by obedience. In this final session, participants bring together their formation, design, and burden and submit them to prayerful, communal discernment.

The Faith & Work Cohort

The Faith & Work Cohort is a robust, fourteen-session experience that helps participants develop a biblical understanding of work and vocation, integrating faith with clarity and purpose. Through teaching and reflection, it shapes how they see God, themselves, and their work, equipping them to live faithfully and approach their work as worship.

Next Cohorts Begin: October 2026
